Mivagyn

Mivagyn vaginal tablets is a medical device formulated to restore vaginal bacterial flora and natural pH. Its composition is based on a mix of Milk Proteins (hydrolyzed/fermented), Lactic Acid and Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS).

The combined action of its components reduces symptoms such as burning, itching and irritation (even in case of fungal infections), maintaining the natural defenses of the vagina intact. Once dissolved in the vagina, it promotes the increase of endogenous Lactobacilli and rapid pH re-acidification, hindering the action of pathogenic microbes such as Streptococci and Candida.

Actions and Main Ingredients

Mivagyn acts primarily on two fronts: restoration of bacterial flora and maintenance of acidic pH:

• Action on Vaginal Flora:

  • FOS (Fructo-oligosaccharides): Prebiotic that positively influences the growth of Lactobacilli species (L. acidophilus, L. fermentum, L. casei), promoting their rapid increase.

  • Natural Mix Milk Protein (Hydrolyzed/Fermented Milk Proteins): Contribute to the nourishment and well-being of the vaginal environment.

• Action on Vaginal pH:

  • Lactic Acid: Is crucial for maintaining an acidic vaginal pH. FOS increase the production of Lactic Acid by endogenous Lactobacilli, ensuring rapid re-acidification.

• Protective Action:

  • Protection against infections and prevention of proliferation of pathogenic microbes such as Streptococci and Candida.
