Hyperkeratotic Plaques of Psoriasis
Kerafol is a cosmetic formulated as a powerful keratolytic, skin-smoothing and exfoliating treatment. It is indicated for treating dermatitis and skin dehydration, acting to regenerate the skin barrier through the combined action of its keratolytic components. Kerafol is available in a 50 ml tube.
Its formula contains high concentrations of active ingredients:
- Urea (50%): At this concentration, it has a strong moisturizing action that increases skin hydration and restores NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor). It also acts as a deep keratolytic.
- Salicylic Acid (1.9%) and Lactic Acid (0.4%): Powerful exfoliating agents that dissolve the stratum corneum without altering the underlying cells. Salicylic Acid also has soothing, antiseptic and healing properties.
- Glycerol: Humectant agent that supports moisturizing action and skin elasticity.
