Ginox Suppositories is a vaginal medical device formulated to prevent and treat vaginal infections, restore physiological pH and relieve intimate dryness and irritation.
Its composition, based on carbamide peroxide, lactic acid, boric acid, polycarbophil, glycyrrhetinic acid, vitamins A and E and tea tree oil, promotes vaginal mucosa regeneration and strengthens natural defenses against bacteria and fungi.
Thanks to its combined moisturizing, antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory action, Ginox is also ideal for preventing Streptococcus agalactiae (group B) infections during the pre-delivery period, which can pose risks to the newborn.
Composition and mechanism of action:
- Carbamide Peroxide: releases active oxygen, exerting an antiseptic and purifying effect.
- Lactic Acid: restores physiological pH (3.5–4.5), creating an environment hostile to pathogenic microorganisms.
- Boric Acid: maintains vaginal flora balance and counteracts bacteria and fungi.
- Polycarbophil: ensures prolonged bioadhesion, forming a protective film that reduces friction and irritation.
- Glycyrrhetinic Acid: natural soothing agent with anti-inflammatory action.
- Vitamins A and E: provide antioxidant and regenerating action on tissues.
- Tea Tree Oil: powerful natural antiseptic with antibacterial, antifungal and anti-pruritic activity.
