BOROX is a medical device (MD) in ear spray format (solution), developed for deep hygiene of the ear cavity and adjuvant treatment of mild irritative and inflammatory conditions. The spray format ensures uniform distribution and easy, hygienic administration.
Its formula combines mucus-thinning and sanitizing action, thanks to:
- N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC): Acts as a mucolytic agent, breaking the bonds that make earwax thick and sticky. This facilitates its expulsion and the removal of excess earwax, preventing plug formation.
- Boric Acid: Known for its sanitizing and antiseptic properties, it helps restore the correct physiological pH and maintain an environment unfavorable to microbial proliferation, preventing irritations and infections of the ear canal.
